Pastor Michelle D. Allen is a charismatic teacher, shepherding Pastor, and visionary discipleship leader in the image of Christ Jesus. She is the founder and has served as Senior Pastor of New Jerusalem Disciples Church (called Disciples Church by its spiritual family) since 2014. Her theological training is from Candler School of Theology, Emory University where she earned a Master of Divinity Degree with a certificate in Religious Education. She has a Master of Arts and Sciences Degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Denver. Pastor Allen served as an Assistant Professor at a college in Metro-Atlanta prior to answering her call to ministry. She realized that God was using her education and training in developmental psychology to impact not only the academic development of her students, but to equip them with spiritual tools to actualize God’s purpose and plan for their lives. She has served as an Assistant Pastor at a church in College Park, Georgia, and Minister/Chaplain for hospice patients and families. Her greatest love is serving as a shepherding Pastor-Teacher and Prophet-Evangelist who feeds and cares for Jesus’s lambs and sheep.
Pastor M.D. Allen’s mission is to share the love of God and faith in Christ Jesus with believers and non-believers. She is Christ centered and Holy Spirit empowered in her call to ministry. Through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, her vision is to transform at least one-million lives into Overcomers who live the life and ministry God tailored made for them.
